About Shima Navi

Shima Navi puts every way to reach an island on a single page. For each route we list the departure port, operator, type of boat, travel time, fare, number of sailings, first and last boats, and whether you can bring a car.

How we check the values

• Every value comes from the official pages of the operator or municipality. Each route links to its sources and shows the date we checked.
• Anything we could not confirm on an official page is shown as “—”. We never fill gaps with guesses.
• Timetables and fares change by season and year. Always check the official timetable and service status before you travel.
• The English pages are translated from the Japanese ones. If they ever differ, the official Japanese pages of the operator are what count.
