An island in Goto City about 20 minutes by high-speed boat from Fukue Port. In 1868, 42 hidden Christians died here in the Rouya-no-Sako persecution, and the Villages on Hisaka Island, including the Former Gorin Church (built 1881, an Important Cultural Property), are a component of the World Heritage site "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region".

Ferry Hisaka. Times are the Jan 3–Dec 31 timetable. Okuura departures 7:30 and 16:50; Tanoura departures 14:35 and 17:20. The 7:30 sailing from Okuura continues from Tanoura at 8:00 to Fukue (arriving 8:34), and the 13:35 sailing from Fukue (arriving Tanoura 14:09) returns from Tanoura to Okuura (Fukue–Tanoura adult fare 790 yen).
