One-way fares: adult ¥1,000, student (elementary, junior high and high school) ¥500 (no round-trip fare listed). Cars cannot be taken to the island (there is no car ferry; use the parking lots around Himeji Port, per Himeji City FAQ). To reach Himeji Port, take the bus bound for Himeji Port (last stop) from stop 1 of the JR Himeji Station North Exit bus terminal. A document from the MLIT Kobe District Transport Bureau as of August 2025 showed two companies, Kosoku Ieshima and Takafuku Liner, running in alternation, but the September 2026 timetable lists Ieshima Liner as the only operator.
