You reach Nozakijima by boat from Ojika Port (Fuefuki). The 町営船 from Ojika Port (Fuefuki) takes 35 min and costs ¥520 one way for an adult.
A nearly uninhabited island in Ojika Town; apart from the managers of its lodge, no one lives there. The whole island is part of Saikai National Park and is home to wild deer. The Village Sites on Nozaki Island, where the Former Nokubi Church still stands, are a component of the World Heritage site "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region".

Times are the regular schedule from the 2026 service calendar (as of Jan 1, 2026). Ojika departures 7:25 (via Mushima, arriving Nozaki 8:00) and 14:30 (via Mushima, arriving 15:05); Nozaki departures 8:05 and 15:10. On weekends and holidays in Apr–May and Jul–Oct an extra 11:10 sailing (returning from Nozaki 11:35) runs, and on designated Sundays only the 11:10 and 14:30 sailings run. Days without service are set in the calendar: Nov 1 and 15 and Dec 6 and 20 in 2026. Adult fare 520 yen one way; 990 yen round trip bought on the island. No boat reservation is needed, but visitors are asked to notify Ojika Island Tourism (0959-56-2646) in advance and book day visits or stays at least 7 days ahead. If the afternoon boat is cancelled by weather you may be stranded on the island. Ojika is reached from Sasebo (Kyushu Shosen) or Hakata (Nomo Shosen's Ferry Taiko).
