All sailings are suspended on Jan 1 (normal service from Jan 2). The town directs passengers to Kaminoseki Koun's official Facebook for service status. Child fares are about half the adult fare (in brackets in the table). From Yanai Port there are 2 sailings, 9:30 (arr. Iwaishima 10:40) and 15:45 (arr. Iwaishima 16:55), calling at Murotsu, Kaminoseki, Kamai and Shidai. Only 2 sailings go from Iwaishima all the way to Yanai Port: 6:45 (arr. Yanai Port 7:55) and 12:30 (arr. 13:40). The town's Iwaishima sightseeing pamphlet also says "70 minutes, 3 sailings a day (2 a day call at Yanai Port)". The town's "Access" page gives Yanai Port ⇒ Kaminoseki as "about 35 minutes, ¥860", but the fare table in the timetable PDF gives Yanai Port ⇔ Kaminoseki as ¥880, so they do not match. The town's official pages do not say whether cars can be carried.
