You reach Tonakijima by boat from Naha Tomari Port (Tomarin) or Kanegusuku Port (Kumejima). The car ferry from Kanegusuku Port (Kumejima) takes 1 h 20 min and costs ¥1,160 one way for an adult.
An island of Tonaki Village, 58 km northwest of Naha, 12.5 km around and 3.59 km² in area. The whole island is a prefectural natural park, and its village keeps rows of fukugi trees and white-sand lanes.

値は11/1〜12/31と1/1〜3/31の時刻。那覇9:00発→渡名喜10:55着、渡名喜10:35発→那覇12:30着。この期間は久米島14:00発が渡名喜に寄らないため、那覇からの日帰りはできない。運賃は大人片道、往復5,230円。久米商船の公式サイトは2026/10/22からメンテナンス中で、時刻と運賃は同サイトの航路・運賃ページの保存版（Internet Archive、2026年3〜6月）と渡名喜村の公式アクセスページで確かめた。メンテナンス中の運航情報は久米商船のインスタグラム（@kumeline1950）、問い合わせは本社 098-868-2686（メンテナンス中は7:30から受付）。2026/5/19〜6/18は船員不足で1隻運航に減便、6/19からフェリー琉球のドックと告知されていたが、その後の運航体制は公式で確かめられず。予約・乗船券の販売は1か月前から。渡名喜支店 098-989-2479。

An inter-island leg of the Naha–Kumejima route. Times are for Apr 1–Oct 31, 2026: Kumejima 9:00 → Tonaki 10:20; Tonaki 11:10 → Kumejima 12:30 (the 9:00 sailing from Naha). On Fridays and Saturdays the 14:00 from Kumejima also calls at Tonaki (arriving 15:20; the Saturday stop is a 2026 trial). From Nov 1 to Mar 31 the 14:00 from Kumejima does not call at Tonaki. Adult one-way fare; round trip ¥2,210.
